Soup and Song
Can you think of a better way to welcome the Sabbath than getting together to sing and enjoy a variety of special music's? Our two Celebration in Song evenings have been such a blessing, we would like to be able to look forward to more throughout the year. We will be making a few changes in the format, however. Beginning in January, we will be meeting in the social hall so that we can begin with a light supper. The setting will also make it easier to invite non-members to attend. You are encouraged to invite anyone you think would get a blessing. Because of the inclusion of dinner, we will be beginning at 6pm.
Below is a calendar of dates. Please mark your calendars now so that you can plan to attend as many as possible. We are also looking for people willing to help. Three to four host families will be needed for each evening. They will be responsible for the soup, bread, and desert. They may of course get additional help as needed. One person will be needed to coordinate music for the evening. They will need to arrange for some specials and the group singing.
