MP3 Basics

If your computer has a sound card and you can play MP3 audio files, simply click on the link for each sermon title and your media player will begin to play the sermon. You may also enable the audio file by installing Windows Media Player 10, a free download from the following web site:

Podcasting Basics

  • What is podcasting?
  • Podcasting makes an audio file, typically an MP3 file, available online for downloading via an automatic "feed." You can then hear the podcast whenever you want from your computer or a portable media player.

  • What do I need to hear podcasts?
  • The first thing you need is podcast subscription software. Your options include the latest version of Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), or other services such as, iPodder, or Juice to manage your podcast subscriptions. At this point, you will already be able to listen to podcast audio from your computer (provided your computer has a sound card and can play MP3 audio files). If you want to also make your podcasts portable, you will need to transfer them from your computer to a portable media device.

  • How do I subscribe to a podcast?
  • To subscribe to Lemoore SDA's Podcast Feed, copy the following link. Right-click this link (or Control-click in MacOS) and select "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut." You may then paste the link into your podcasting software.

If you wish to unsubscribe to a podcast, please be sure to delete the entire feed entry (not just the individual audio editions) in your subscription management software. If you no longer regularly listen to a particular podcast, clearing that feed helps us contain costs associated with our podcasting service.

"Real-Audio" and "Windows Media" Files

These sermons are available on your computer via streaming Audio. In order for these files to work you will need to have the latest version of Real Player or Windows Media Player installed on your computer. You can download a free version of Real player here.  You can Download a free Windows Media Player here.

Test your Real Player by trying to listen to this song:

Shout to the Lord-WOW worship songs

If clicking on the above link doesn't open up a "real player" window and start playing the song, you need to download the newest version of the Real Player program.
